In 1855 the first Chinese tea bushes were planted in the Namring area. This tea plantation belongs to the largest ones of India and is divided into the areas of Poomong, Jingiam and Namring and the more highly situated Namring (upper). From the district of Namring (upper) we are offered a tea that fascinates by its wonderful leaves and its marvellous, typical first flush aroma. The colour in the cup is an amazing light red combined with a full-bodied, strong taste and a typical first flush appearance. The scent and aftertaste are nutty.
