The original Earl Grey tea was named after Charles Grey, Second Earl Grey in the 18th Century. At that time it consisted only of Chinese teas, flavoured with finest bergamot oil (citrus plant). Today we can combine this classical flavour with fine, mild and sweetish red bush tea. Also the convinced Earl Grey drinker should have a try. You will be surprised how wonderfully the bergamot aroma develops on the red bush basis. Refined with lemon peel, the freshness also shows in the appearance.

  • Quantity per liter: 4-5 heaped teaspoons

    Water temperature: 100 °C
